ANGELENE PERRY :
For Angelene, film is in the blood… Having left school at 15 Angelene found herself traveling with her guitar to Paris before coming back to Scotland and working in a local recording studio at the age of 16. After a few years at college she progressed her production skills further when she attended and completed her BA Hons Degree in Film & Media at the University of Stirling. Studying her degree allowed her to combine her sound production with film making and writing. In addition she developed skills in radio production and journalism. Following university Angelene gained experience in live events as part of a production crew at one of the main events at the Edinburgh Festival and learned to take creative risks. Angelene has worked in radio in both a production and presentation capacity during which time she found a flair for training others. For the past 12 years Angelene has been developing the creative skills of Scotland’s up and coming talent in subjects ranging from media and communications to career preparation.
In addition Angelene is an accomplished artist and writer as well a ‘dabbler’ of the guitar.
She has belief in the creativity on show in Scotland and is excited to be part of such a talented and energetic team.
